  • Ela Lamblin: Kelphorn Beach

    Sculptor, composer, and performer Ela Lamblin – known for his work as half of the duo Lelavision – produced Sculptaural, his first album of original music, as part of the 1996 Jack Straw Artist Support Program.

  • Trinidad Marquez - Entre Los Dos

    This performance was recorded at a concert in Granger, WA as part of Gritos del Alma, a project that began in 1992 in collaboration with Washington State Arts Commission and Radio KDNA to recognize and honor the diverse traditions of the people of Mexican descent residing in Washington State. The resulting 23-page bilingual booklet and 60-minute cassette provide an excellent introduction to the Chicano/Mexicano music traditions of the Yakima Valley.

  • Seattle Baroque Orchestra - Vivaldi's Chamber Concerto in D Major

    Byron Schenkman and the Seattle Baroque Orchestra produced an album of chamber works by Vivaldi through the Jack Straw Artist Support Program. The album was released by Centaur Records in 2015.

  • Orkestar RTW - Moi Dilbere

    Orkestar RTW‘s self-titled CD of Balkan music, produced through the Jack Straw Artist Support Program, is available for purchase at orkestarrtw.bandcamp.com.

  • Ran Park - For Alice

    Jack Straw artist Ran Park is recording a collection of original solo piano music through the Jack Straw Artist Support Program. “For Alice” is the first single released from this project. It is available at ranpark.bandcamp.com.

  • Mako - Nuchibana

    Jack Straw Artist Mako recently released Portal, her new album of traditional Okinawan music produced through the Artist Support Program. You can hear the album and purchase a copy at mako3.bandcamp.com. On Saturday, July 11th, at 7pm, Mako will perform a live set from Jack Straw via Facebook Live.

  • Andrew Weathers Ensemble - The Plains of Paradise

    Jack Straw Artist Andrew Weathers mixed several recordings of his ensemble at Jack Straw for his Artist Support Program Residency. “The Plains of Paradise” and another of these tracks will be included on a cassette single from Timesuck tapes this spring.

  • William O. Smith - Epitaphs

    Clarinetist and composer William O. Smith died recently after a long and fruitful career, ranging from playing – as Bill Smith – with Dave Brubeck to performing and composing his own pioneering modern classical work. Bill was a longtime friend of Jack Straw and produced a number of projects here, including his 2001 album Solo Music, from which this track is taken. “Epitaphs,” played on two clarinets simultaneously, was composed and performed by William O. Smith, with text from the ancient Arcadian poet Anyte of Tegea.
