Tara Tamaribuchi: Groove Bardos

People in a recording studio. One jumps in front of a microphone, one sits at a computer, others look on.In November 2025, Jack Straw and Arts and Visually Impaired Audiences (AVIA) presented an accessible youth and family art workshop with resident artist Jack Straw resident artist Tara Tamaribuchi, in conjunction with her New Media Gallery installation Groove Bardos.

After an audio described tour of the installation, participants worked together to create an original song using the same technology Tara used to compose the Groove Bardos soundtrack. Participants then created their own party decorations, similar to those Tara would find at rave and dance parties.
