Kate Myre

Kate Myre lives and works in Seattle as a stage actor, voice over talent, and teacher. In addition to her extensive work nationally as a voice over artist and dialect coach, regional stage credits include: Seattle Public Theater’s Boston Marriage, Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Lady Macbeth, Boston’s Publick Theatre as Rosalind in As You Like It, The Boston Repertory Theatre in Baby With The Bathwater, Chiswick Park Theatre Company as Ann in All my Sons, StageWest in Massachusetts as Elsa in The Road to Mecca, and with Seattle Shakespeare Company in Taming of the Shrew. She had the honor of meeting Arthur Miller and performing the role of Patricia in his play, The Last Yankee. Mr. Miller brought her to New York to recreate the role for the Signature Theatre Company under the direction of Joseph Chaikin. Netflix executive producer, Brian Yorkey, invited Kate to dialect coach the hit series 13 Reasons Why as well as the drama, Echoes (2022), and in Oslo, Norway she voice coached the acclaimed production of The Hamlet Complex at the Royal Opera House. She has coached for The Seattle Rep, The Seattle Children’s Theatre, ACT, The Village Theater, Seattle Public Theater, The Immediate Theatre, The Borealis Theater, Theater Schmeater, Jack Straw Cultural Center, and The Boston Repertory Theatre.
