Brian Akers is a spirited kindergarten teacher with a passion for skateboarding and a growing fascination with the soulful rhythms of cumbia, which he loves learning to play on his accordion. His journey with Khmer culture began when he met Sreymom Serey during their college days, and ever since, he has developed a deep appreciation for the richness of Cambodia’s heritage.
