Seattle World School: Everyday Scenarios 2014

During our arts & technology program in spring 2014, World School students from many different countries participated in several projects to help strengthen their new English language and technical skills.

The students began the program by creating audio dialogues about everyday situations to help increase their English literacy and introduce them to audio technology. They further developed team-building and language skills by conducting recorded interviews of each other. These activities led up to the creation of a book and CD of their holiday traditions.

Listen to the produced scenarios below.

Special thanks to the City of Seattle Community Technology, the Washington State Arts Commission, 4Culture King County Lodging Tax Fund, and the National Endowment for the Arts for making this program possible.
