The Kelp Forest is an immersive installation that explores the interconnectedness of marine ecosystems, ancestral memory, and environmental resilience. Drawing inspiration from Pacific Northwest kelp forests, the work combines sculptural tapestry, layered textures, and organic movement to evoke the feeling of being submerged within an underwater ecosystem. Through themes of regeneration, climate awareness, and cultural connection to water, the installation invites viewers to reflect on the fragile beauty of ocean life and humanity’s relationship to the natural world.
