Our Time Is Up tells the story of Jake and Helen McCleary, an elderly couple struggling to save their troubled marriage. The story unfolds across a series of weekly therapy sessions, as Jake and Helen sort through the messy details of their failing relationship.

The voices of the two main characters are constructed from oral history recordings of the artist’s late grandfather and a woman neither of them met. This multi-channel sound installation invites you to enter the therapist’s office and inhabit the experience of the absent characters.
