Join us in the studios at Jack Straw Cultural Center or via Zoom for a hands-on sound art workshop with artist Tiffany Danielle Elliott in conjunction with her New Media Gallery installation I promise I won’t scream. Participants will tour the exhibit, then explore the concepts of silent screaming and the effect of sound vibrations on wood, and have the opportunity to record their voice and construct a wooden box of their own to store sound vibration, similar to those found in Elliott’s work.
