Rob Witmer is a composer, musician, and sound designer from Seattle, Washington. He studied arts and technology at the Evergreen State College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. Rob has composed music and created sound designs for many theatrical productions at Seattle Rep, Seattle Opera, ACT Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company and Seattle Children’s Theatre. He has also created sound designs for Spectrum Dance Theatre and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Rob has taught sound design at the University of Washington, and performs regularly with several musical groups, including the Toucans Steel Drum Band, Carrie Clark, and the Love Markets.
