Jenny Peterson and Kaitlin McCarthy/The Bonnies

Jenny Peterson and Kaitlin McCarthy have been making strange performance works together in Seattle, WA since 2013. Oft performing under moniker “The Bonnies,” they gravitate to the grotesque/off-kilter/marvelous like moths to the flame, developing their dream worlds through movement, text, music, costume, and photography. They have performed at countless festivals, underground art salons, and nightlife performance venues. In 2024 they premiered their first evening-length work in Seattle and toured it to Performance Works NW in Portland, OR and the Light Box Theater in San Diego, CA. Their latest interdisciplinary project will premiere with Velocity Dance Center in spring 2026.
