Gregg Daniel Miller received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Washington in 2005. His research focus is on the philosophy of language, power, and aesthetics within the traditions of critical theory and liberalism (see: Mimesis and Reason, SUNY Press, 2011). He is also an improvising saxophone player. For his Jack Straw project, Miller combines his interests in political theory with his love of free, experimental, improvisatory music.
