Doreen Mitchum

Doreen Mitchum works at 4Culture, where she manages the annual Group Arts Project program, the Touring Arts Roster and produces 4CTV, documentaries about 4Culture supported arts and cultural organizations in King. She has served on advisory committees such as the Langston Hughes African-American Film Festival and the Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas and currently serves on King County’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration committee and the Washington State Arts Alliance Cultural Congress planning committee. Doreen received her BA from The Ohio State University and an MFA in Film Production from Howard University in Washington D.C. and previously taught at Seattle Central Community College.
