After an audio described tour of the installation with AVIA’s Lynne Compton, participants talked with Jonathan and Sandesh about their inspiration, including topics of home, memory, and food. Jack Straw’s recording studio was arranged in a way to evoke the feeling of spending time in one’s home. The artists guided participants through the process of creating impromptu sounds with objects and instruments from the installation and from the artists’ homes. The group edited these sounds into a soundscape, which was then integrated into the sounds of the installation back in the New Media Gallery.
