Deep Energy Orchestra, the new group led by Jack Straw Resident Artist Jason Everett, produced their album Playing with Fire through the Artist Support Program. This collection of audio and video recordings of Everett’s compositions features prog-phenom Trey Gunn (King Crimson) and Indian percussion master Selvaganesh (Shakti, Masters of Percussion) along with seven-string violinist Radhika Iyer, tabla player Anil Prasad, and a classical string section. Jack Straw will host an album preview and discussion with Jason and some of his collaborators on Friday, October 5th at 7pm.
