Join us in the studios at Jack Straw Cultural Center for a hands-on sound art workshop with artist Perri Lynch Howard in conjunction with her New Media Gallery installation On Our Watch. After a tour of the exhibit and a virtual visit to the forts that make up the Harbor Defenses of Puget Sound, participants will work with sounds real and imagined using contact mics, radio broadcasts, and some unexpected objects to create soundscapes of their own.
