Peter Vukmirovic Stevens and Paige Stockley of Saint Helens String Quartet
Jack Straw resident artist Peter Vukmirovic Stevens has just flown in from France to record, edit, and mix three new works for string quartet with members of Saint Helens String Quartet and Seattle Symphony. It’s going to be an intense but rewarding few weeks in the Jack Straw studios, to be sure.
Join us the evening of Friday, June 21st for a composer talk with Peter and Jack Straw artist Tom Baker. Both will discuss and share their recent Jack Straw projects; Peter will be joined by violist Mara Gearman, who is a member of Saint Helens Quartet and played on his 2014 ASP project, the solo viola recording Feral Icons.
