Shogofa Amini
Shogofa Amini is a poet from Afghanistan. She began her life as a young girl living under Taliban rule wearing a burqa. She is now an accomplished poet and she holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Shogofa works as a case manager at Seattle Children’s Hospital, helping underserved children and families navigate difficult circumstances. She is a women’s rights and human rights activist who voices her passion for justice, equality, and education through her poetry.
