Eric Lanzillotta

Eric Lanzillotta has been involved in sound in various aspects over the last two decades. In this time, a few fragments have been released for public consumptions on labels such as Anomalous Records, Selektion, Alluvial Recordings, Beta-Lactam Ring Records, RRRecords, EE Tapes and Jnana Records. Some of these recordings have involved collaborations with Ralf Wehowsky, Andrew Chalk, and John Hudak. He has also contributed to recordings by Hands To, AMK, Ultra, Edward Ka-Spel, irr.app.(ext.), and Dropp Ensemble. As a live performer, he has appeared in United States, Canada and Japan, both solo and in duets with Bernhard Gunter, Aube and Withdrawal Method. In recent years, Eric has focused on playing analog electronics live. Each performance is improvised with a focus on creating long form works which follow the path of the electronics' subtle changes. This is a music of timbres and textures rather than notes and melodies.
The Composer Spoltight series is presented by Jack Straw Productions and Washington Composers Forum (WCF). This series of talks and performances of new music highlights an innovative composer or performer every second Wednesday of each month at Jack Straw Productions. ABOUT WASHINGTON COMPOSERS FORUM
WCF is a non-profit arts organization that nurtures the creation, performance, and dissemination of new music by composers living in Washington State. Since its founding in 1984, WCF has produced concerts, readings, and lectures in the U.S. and Canada, representing many composers in the region.
