"Behind the Scenes" with The Golden Tree Story

Jack Straw artist Cynthia Dillard and her band The Golden Tree Story will present an evening about the songs, creative & recording process involved in their 2010 album Openings.
The Golden Tree Story is a project led by songwriter & pianist Cynthia Dillard in collaboration with local musicians Cameron Peace on guitar, Birch Pereira on bass, and Dave Bush on drums. Coming from classical, jazz, and folk traditions, the ensemble has worked together to allow for music that stays true to lyrics while exploring a natural, fluid instrumental sound.
